CAP interpreted the gravity in his own way. Trying to hold the whole lamp shade on the outer edge, works only through the combination of all taken materials. The lamp consists of a painted flexible gooseneck, a 1,5 mm aluminium board, a lamp socket and the bulb. You can adjust the height by pulling the gosseneck through the two given holes. Nothing more, just pure straightness.
